Judging Criteria.
Entries are judged on the basis of how well the sunroom, solarium or patio enclosure enhances the architecture and natural surroundings of the home or structure, as well as the functionality of the sunroom’s interior. Winners will be divided into three categories based on the cost of the project.
Awards:
All
entries in the 2007 Design Awards competition will be
posted on our website at nationalsunroom.org for consumers
to view until the 2008 competition begins.
Contact
information will be available for the dealership that
installed the entry. Finalists of the 2007 Design Awards
in each category will receive a local press release
they can distribute announcing their achievement.
The winners
of the competition will be announced during the NSA
Spring Meeting, which is scheduled to be held March
10-11, 2008, in San Antonio.
The winners
will receive a media kit (including press releases,
a 2007 Design Award Image, and a certificate for display)
for use with their local press, and to post on their
own website for national recognition.
Entry Qualifications.
All sunrooms,
solariums and patio covers constructed in the U.S. or
Canada and installed between January 1, 2007, and December
31, 2007, are eligible for the 2007 Design Awards. Sunrooms
owned by employees or proprietors of the sunroom dealership
or their families are not eligible for the Design Awards
competition. The deadline for entries is December 31,
2007.
Entry Requirements:
There is
no entry fee. Contestants may submit more then one entry.
For each submission, an entry form must be completed
in full and submitted. Please include a maximum of 3
photos per entry (300 dpi or greater jpgs or tifs),
or include at least two color transparencies or prints
(of interior and exterior). Any entry that is not signed
will be disqualified.
